| Abstract |
The main contribution of the modem university architectural education does not only teach concepts of architecture, but also trains to be more analytical, creative and innovative. This thesis compares the fundamental differences in university architectural education between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of China(Taiwan), with particular emphasis in educational systems, curriculums, and its contents. These are the core elements which contribute significantly developing problem solving ability in professional architectural career. In conclusion, the commom goal of architectural education in both the Republic of Korea and the Republic of China is to cultivate proficient and responsible architects. |
