A Study on the Network Model for Sharing Elementary Schools with Community Education in the City of Seoul |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to propose the network model of community school in Seoul area. To abstract the network model, the study examined the planning criteria of community school and analyzed the present condition of Seoul such factors as area population education index and culture index The results show that the typical scheme of 1 adminstrative Dong(洞) is identical with a 'neighborhood unit' of 20,000 people that has 1 emenentary school with maximum distance of 800m(area of 1.14km2) whole the effective service ramge of community facilities is thought to be within 2km. As a conclusion, this study schenatizes a small network(basic unit of network) that serves 4 adminstrative Dongs of 80,000 poeple consists of 4 primary schools, 2-3 middle schools and 2 high schools On the whole, typical network model of a self-governing district(區) in Seoul is proposed as a formation of 1 large network with 2 middle networks and 5 small networks on an average. |
