A Study on the Determination of the Period of Cold Weather Concreting on Architectural Execution in Korea |
| Abstract |
In this paper, not only determination of the Period of cold weather conuTting on execution in Korea according to the specifications of AIJ, KSCE, JSCE and ACI, but, suggestion on the period of cold weather conurting are discussed. According to the research the period of cold weather concreting with each specification in most regions lasts over 100days. Compared with the Period of cold weather concreting in hillside and inland neE coastal areas have longer Period in the same latitude. The period of cold weather concreting tends to increase with high latitude. The period of cold weather concreting by the specfication of ACI is longer than that of AIJ, KSCE and JSCE by 106ays. The specification as to the determination of the period of cold weather concreting on architectural execution in Ksrea is mposed as follows. "when daily average temperatue is expected to go below 4t, cold weather concreting should be performed." |
