Abstract In this paper, removal time of the side forms using estimation model of compressive strength with maturity are discussed under various kinds of binder and water to binder ratio(W/B). Tests are carried out using concrete containing ordinary portland cement(OPC), flyash cement(FAC) and blast furnace slag cement(BSC). W/B and curing temperature are varied. Logistic model is applied in order to estimate the strength development and to determine removal time of the side forms. According to experimental results, it shows that high agreements between calculated values and measured values is obtained evaluating compressive strength with logistic curve, regardless of the kinds of bider. The tables for removal time of the side forms with the levels of expected curing temperature and W/B are suggested. It takes 0.5days to 4.5days to strip the forms from concrete wall, column and side of girder based on the results of this paper. Removal time of the side forms using ordinary OPC concrete ia rather shorter than that using FAC and BSC. It also shows that removal time of the forms by this paper is shorter than that by KASS(Korean Architectural Standards Specification)
