Abstract |
Recently, use of deck plate slab is increasing gradually for multi-story building. In that case, deformed rebar is used to connect steel rod in deck plate. However, a study of composite slab system is limited, especially lap splice of a joint connection behavior between deformed bar and steel rod is very few. The purpose of this study is to supply a fundamental data through experiments on lap splice performance of deformed bar and steel rod. Test results show that : 1) Suggested length of lap splice was proper to sustain the design load. 2) Resisting forces of specimens tested monotonic and cyclic load showed little difference. 3) While D10 series showed large ductility capacity after maximum load, D13 series showed relatively smaller ductility capacity after maximum load. 4) Resisting forces of specimens with deformed bar-steel wire are larger than that of deformed bar-deformed bar, however it showed brittle type of failure mode. |
