| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to make clear understanding of the design concept in urban detached houses. For the study we surveyed detached houses in Sunchon city. Also, the cause of behavior in built environment was analyzed.
As a result of the study, the relationship between environment and behavior are considered transaction over interaction. Transaction in environment and behavior is adapted by integration, and is fused by active motivation of residential. The following suggestions are recommended for the design concept that is increasing the possibility for developing community behavior.
① The built environment such as second floor terrace, rooftop, etc, should be increased the frequency and time of necessary behavior. ② The built environment needs to be designed diversly in accordance with the function and positions. ③ An alleyway should be opened indirect, and designed semi-common space. ④ The house group mixed by attribute of dwellers needs to be formated within twenty houses. ⑤ Such design concept should be able to select neighborhood relation in according to community conscious by dwellers. |
