| Abstract |
Floor coverings, resilient layer(include slab) and ceiling structure are the main factors of the impact sound insulation performance. The studies on the impact sound insulation characteristics of floor coverings and resilient layer have been carried out broadly. But the study on ceiling structure is in initial stage.
So, this paper aims to suggest fundamental data of floor impact sound insulation characteristics of ceiling structure due to the variation of sound-absorbing and insulation materials. To achieve the aim of this study, 8 types of sound-absorbing and sound insulation materials were installed under the slab and were tested in the Chonnnam National University reverberation room which can be controlled without any other acoustical affects.
The comparisons among specimens were conducted by the improved level to the bare slab which has no ceilings. |
