| Abstract |
In the 1960's, due to the progress of the science and the paradox of the modernism, the functionalism of modern architecture had to go through dramatic changes. There were two distinct architects' groups which showed us the root of the present high-tech architecture. The purpose of this study is to review two groups to find out how they have progressed from their regional foundation, and their influence upon the present architecture. This thesis focuses on the different characteristics of the two groups respectively and the subtle distinction of the usage of terminology. |
