Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the housing maintenance and adjustment behavior affected by the housing, family and sociocultural characteristics. Frequency, correlation and multi-regression analyses based on the data which were obtained by the interview and physical trace observation in 2001. The sample size was 117 households in Chung-ju city. The results of this research are as follows: 1. Housing maintenance and adjustment behaviors are more related to the housing and sociocultural characteristicsthan the family characteristics. 2. The most Influential variable to predict the maintenance behaviors of detached houses residents and the adjustment behaviors was ‘age of structure’ and ‘age of occupation’ respectively. 3. To detached houses residents, the maintenance behaviors happened more frequently in bed room space, family living space, household working space and outdoor space, and the adjustment behaviors happened more frequently in service space, sanitary space and rental space. |
