| Abstract |
The efforts to solve the problem of the floor impact noise in apartment houses have been realized and, as a result numerous products have been distributed in the market. But, contrary to the diversity of products, it also has been true that the impact noise insulation performance between insulators didn't show a remarkable contrast.
In this study, elements which is related with floor impact insulation performance were investigated. And based on these investigated results, the reduction effects of impact noise insulators were compared and analyzed between the structures with insulator and those without insulator. The test results were gathered from the two authorized laboratories which has a reverberation room to test the floor impact insulation performance, and on-site test was conducted to verify the laboratory test results. Through these, the characteristics of floor impact noise reduction effects compared between the floor structure with an insulator and without it were suggested. |
