Abstract The purpose of this study is to present basic data on the strengthening design of RC building, which is constructed with the strengthened test-frame with carbon fiber under generating the early crack by bending similar with damaged concrete structural building subjected by reinforced concrete beam through the ultimate strength design, and evaluated the structural efficiency of strengthened reinforced concrete beam on test. This conclusions on above test are as follows; The strengthened specimen with Carbon Fiber Sheets(CFS) was shown more excellent effect that max. load was increased min. 8% and max. 46% than non-strengthened standard specimen in respect of limit design. There is little difference in max. load of specimen which was reinforcd in the bottom and in max. load of specimen which was reinforced in the bottom and U type of both sides with CFS. But it is thought that it is a good strengthening method for ductility security because ductility was investigated as 18% - 38% high. The BC2-b2-70 strengthened with 1/2 standard to soffit and side was shown the best effect of specimens that limit strength was 46%, ductility was 10% against standard specimen. And also the limit strength and ductility of BC2-b2-70 was 22% high comparison with the BC2-B2-70 strengthened to whole sides.
