Abstract |
The purpose of this paper is to research the applicability of radiant cooling system with a thin plate above the roof in summer. Previous studies have dealt with the radiant cooling performance of the nocturnal radiators. From these studies, we verified cooling energy sources of nocturnal radiators in Korea climate conditions.
In this study, the applicability of cooling by passive or semipassive systems was analysed, examined and presented through the case study. The result of this study show that the radiant cooling system of rooftop could provide profitable cooling energy sources in nocturnal hot climate. An additional study is required to establish the complete system of design pattern on the basis of this study |
