Abstract Increasing interest and providing educational experience for the public have long been a major Museum goal. This interest raises the question of how visitors respond to museum exhibits. Much researches have been done which indicate that the newer and more interactive exhibits are indeed more didactic and enjoyable than conventional exhibits. This study focused on the Museum Exhibit Evaluation Methods which make the exhibition to be effective. This research examined the related literature and studied the process of exhibit evaluation, museum learning as an informal education, visitor right of evaluation, context of evaluation, and especially exhibit evaluation methods & tools. In conclusion, even though exhibit evaluation methods and tools were brought form those of Education and Psychology, those are effective methods and tools for the study of exhibit evaluation and those should be developed by practices in Korean museum nature.
