Abstract |
This study is to classify the types of the main building in the middle-high classes' housing in Chonnam Province in the late Chosun Dynasty and to make clear both the frame structural characteristics of the middle-high classes' housing at that time and its innate structural features.
In addition, By using the “SAS”, this study is to show the interrelations about meaningfulness among the basic elements-high pillar and pillar, beam and pillar, height of floor-which form the building. Along with this, this thesis is to try to compare and analyze the 1 dimension and 2 dimension, that is, the interrelations between the plan and the elevation, and finally to clarify the frame structural characteristics of traditional housing architecture represented in that result. |
