| Abstract |
During all design stages of a building project, a vast amount of interrelated design information is generated and communicated among specialist groups and the good project result relies heavily on the good communications.
Nowadays design problems are more complicated and the importance of communication even grows.
This paper describes a characteristic of communications during design process in large design firms. The sample objects of this study are 27 project teams and 112 employees of large design firms in seoul. This analyze the status investigation of the communication effectiveness and barriers of design process, and present systemic understanding for communications in design firms. |
