Abstract Qualitative improvement for managing construction project information efficiently is an important issue for construction companies to maximize utilization of the information. A method for this improvement is to decide priority of process and information among much information in the construction project. However, most of research have been focused on information flows themselves according to the phases of the project life cycle and functions without consideration of information and process priority. Therefore, this research defines project functions and information using IDEF0 model by interview and case study and suggests an evaluation method to decide priority of construction process and information using integrated matrix and process-entity matrix. Also, this research develops database management system using Uniclass and prototype of construction project management information system to show utilization of the priority value.
