Abstract |
Building construction involves a large number of specialty trades that generally work in a continuing and repeating sequence as they move from one floor to another. In the sequential works, typified by the structural parade which consists of form, rebar and concrete works, the variability in work flow between trades impacts on productivity. Especially the lack of skilled labor is the root of variability.
The purpose of this study is reducing the variability and improve the productivity in structural work using multi-skilled labor. To do this, investigated the possibility of using multi-skilled labor and simulated structural work process using multi-skilled labor for improving productivity. |
