Abstract |
Kinetic art research gives a possibility for expressive properties of outer skin in contemporary architecture to contain meanings of the time and space by demonstrating the movement in a figurative form and disturbing ones perception through voluntary actions. Modern architecture in mid-north Europe has involved in the decorative function and free expressionism of architecture by stimulating demonstrative elements and construction of outer skin in cubic system. This study focuses on analyzing spatial effects by the figurative language derived by researching the Kinrtic art and formative similarities between material and non-material elements. As a result, kinetic and op-art after 1955 and Post-minimalism in 1990s <①physical and realistic movements ②a viewer's movement relied on viewer's perspective ③optical illusion, occurred without movement by a viewer ④spectator-changins object> due to the change in perception modern architects ①underwent experiments by setting constructive system and restricting outer skin, in order to ②overcome the restriction of functional and formative architectural space, the construction of outer skin through transferred, hidden, and infinitesimal operations was proved. In addition, expressive elements of eliminating materialism, psycological movement, and active natural outer skin was varified through polarized film, printing method, eliminations of double facade in-between space, and non agreement muti-grids |
