Abstract |
This study aims to investigate the floor impact sound insulation characteristics and reduction level due to the combination of floor-coverings and ceiling structures which can be renovated easily in existing buildings and constructed in new buildings. To achieve the goal of this study, field measurements of airborne sound insulation of buildings are carried out on 4 ceiling structures, 6 floor-coverings and 24 combination structures of the 4 ceilings and the 6 floor-coverings. The result of this study can be used to supply constructor and consumer basic data to estimate floor impact insulation performance and to select ceiling structure and floor-coverings. |
