Abstract The purpose of this study is to propose a decision making model for construction risks using optimizes method. It is a tool for construction risk management which is called DMR. This model has been designed to dealing with the problems from the survey for actual condition of risk management in Korean construction firms. The problems from the survey basically give an idea which the model needs constant criteria to response risk. Therefore, this model is basically using five criteria to response those problems which are scope, budget limits, schedule limits, supportability, and contractual performance requirement. These criteria allow selecting best alternative for risk response method. Also, the boundaries of risk specially help to response un-stable market condition because it gives a fixed target to making decision.
