| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to examine current long-term plans of maintenance management for multi-family housing, focusing on apartment complexes in Seoul. The study analyzes the results of repairing items and repairing process in maintenance plans. In addition, the study proposes improvement strategies for long-term maintenance management. The study finds that repairing has been conduced occasionally rather than based on a pre-planned schedule of long-term maintenance in most cases of apartment complexes. The study concludes that a long-term plan of maintenance management should be divided into four levels based on construction progress, on which basic items of the minimum repairing should be prepared. In addition, the study suggests to construct database system to improve maintenance management of multi-family housing. |
