Abstract For more efficient fire-resisting design, Fire-resisting design must convert by method of performance putting first. Fire-resisting design data base construction is required by Element work.
The object of this study is to establish the fire load of primary school building as a part of the establishment of the fire load of a building by occupancy.
This research investigated fire load of 10 primary school is that is situated in Seoul Results are as following.
1. Primary school's fixed combustibles appeared high by wood flooring board that is flooring material. Library's Unfixed combustibles appeared high worth by a book, bookshelf etc..
2. Library's Fire load by 29kg/m2 the biggest value appear, and different rooms expressed value of 11~16kg/m2.
3. Comparing with result that is examined in 1984 expressed low value generally, and was exposed that average 4.5kg/m2 fire load decreases. Because furniture material is changed by iron in wood.
