| Abstract |
For the purpose of embodying a selection system for appropriate methods to repair and rehabilitate reinforced concrete structures, this research has presented two models for the objective distinction of defects and the efficient selection of repair-rehabilitation methods. First, in order to distinguish the cause of cracks, which are the principal defects of a reinforced concrete structure, the crack-distinction-model is presented through analyzing the structure, the cracks and the surrounding environments. Next, based on the research of the distinction of cracks, the method-selection-model is presented through analyzing the cause of crack, safety of structure, constructability of the method and economical efficiency. These two models are applied to a repair-rehabilitation method selection system to verify their validities. |
