Abstract |
The purpose of study is considering the spatial formation principles of the urban house through a comparative analysis to previous research data such as Siheyuan of Beijing, Mansion a loyer of Paris, Mathya of Kyoto and Terrace house of London. The following principles are recommended; ①Lot division and buildings are taking on the structure of the unity. ②Both courtyard and street should be connected in order to complement each other's function. ③The natural environment should be self-controlled by courtyard and street. ④There should be no space between the border line of lots and outer wall. ⑤The courtyard is utilized as a space for daily living. ⑥Each room is arranged by connecting to the courtyard. ⑦Outer walls of buildings facing the streets are installed with mediation space and equipment for privacy. ⑧A border line and courtyard should be maintained by the agreed rule of dwellers. |
