Abstract |
Recently, much studies for High-Flowing concrete have been suggested under practical use that it is rational way to solve the confronted problem. However, most of studies have been concentrated on the manufacture method and properties of fresh concrete, but there are few studies for the durability of hardened concrete, specially for the air void system and Frost Resistance. It is generally known that the frost resistance of concrete is much affected by the air content in concrete and by the air void system. The frost resistance is also believed to vary with the strength of concrete. The purpose of this experimental study is to investigate the effect of cement and admixture on pore structure of high flowing mortar and tests for air content, slump flow were performed and air void structure was measured with liner traverse method. As a result of this experimental study, it was shown that air content or air void spacing factor is different according to admixture and the kinds of cement. Air content and air void spacing factor by Linear Traverse Method is different according to types of admixture and cement, air content of harden mortar is larger than fresh mortar. |
