A Direction of Active Private Financing for University Education Facilities |

| Abstract |
Recently, it is told that the private participation and the investment on higher education facilities contribute for providing qualitative education facilities in Korea. This expectation comes from the introduction of the private financing law for infrastructure in the Korean construction industry. However, the research on this subject has been little performed in the industry. The study performed to suggest a positive direction to induce active private financing for university education facilities. A number of literatures related to the private financing for public facilities were reviewed in order to investigate the various application systems of private financing. A study and questionnaires were performed for collecting and analyzing the expert knowledge and opinion on the applicability of the private financing for education facilities. Based on the survey results, the study proposes the basic structure, applicable type, and procedure to induce active private financing on university education facilities. In addition, the study suggests the direction of revision of law and regulations related to education facilities for the private financing. |
