| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to suggest the application method about the Integration of Construction IT based on the Basic Semantic Repository. Recently, the standardization of construction CALS make rapid progress, but the interface between those systems is not efficient. In this situation, the BSR project could be proposed to connect those systems. The BSR is an official ISO register of data for use by designers, implementers and users of information system in a manner which will allow systems development to move from a closed to an open multilingual environment. The BSR project based on the data element could be used for electronic communication such as electronic commerce and electronic data interchange. In effect, we suggest followings. Firstly, data element should be structured semantically, so that could be used in every systems and data types. Secondly, the Bridge of the BSR can be used to connect one data element to the others. Finally, from these two idea the integrated DB system can be constructed that makes the data exchange more easily. |
