Abstract |
In this paper, an influence on ventilation efficiency and airflow distribution with the different types of furniture arrangement were analyzed by numerical simulation based on computational fluid dynamics(CFD). The furniture layout of students' bedroom has been classified three kinds of patterns so that the airflow distribution and SVE3(scale for ventilation efficiency 3) in the rooms can be analyzed. According to the results of the study, it is showed that the SVE3 have the maximum value in a space with furniture between and a corner of the room, and the furniture arrangement have influenced the ventilation efficiency. For improvement of the ventilation efficiency, it can be expected to take into consideration the relationship between the wind direction and outlet position, and to reduce the space with furniture between. It has been recognized that ventilation plan needs applicable study on occupied or breathing space(area) in room for resident's health. |
