| Abstract |
The housing supply method lead by the central government reveals itself being problematic in terms of satisfying the dwellers various needs and overall expected life span. Thus, this study aims to find an optimal alternative for revitalizing the Open Building System housing, which is expected to show some of advanced housing supply methods and techniques. To get close to this end, some of new housing supply method of the Korea and Japan were analyzed and then the examples of domestic O.B.S. housing and skeleton & infill system house in Japan are studied. As result from this study, various advanced housing approaches were provided as viable alternatives and the O.B.S. and SI housing techniques for maximizing flexibility and sustainability of residental buildings are introduced and reviewed for the future adaptation in domestic housing market. |
