Abstract While the educational buildings have been planned and constructed according to the traditional crammed policy, the current policy has been being fundamentally changed in context of the open education policy in which the creative programs are saturated into the various building spaces. The variety and changeability of education are key factors to meet the successful project management of educational buildings for which the actual construction data will be usefully applied to the future projects to reduce the decision-making time and the budget. The objectives of this paper are to statistically analyze the actual construction data of educational building projects that are collected according to the standard classification of construction information. The comparative analysis between the conditions of on-going projects and the results of the data analysis helps the owners, designers and construction managers to carry out their own missions rationally with a view to the cost, resources, and others. In particular, the cost analysis at project planning stage will be much applicable to the projects in practice.
