Abstract |
Until recently, a few methodologies for the inventory analysis have been developed to analyze the environmental impacts in lifecycle assessment during the building lifespan. They are divided into two groups; the direct survey and the indirect estimating methodology. The direct method has many limitations over the survey cost, time and the survey range. Therefore, the indirect estimation has been widely used because it has a wide range over an analysis targets and takes low cost and time. The input-output analysis has been proposed as one of the indirect estimations for the inventory analysis. This paper aimed at analyzing the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission such as CO2, SOx according to construction contents, using the input-output analysis for the inventory analysis of LCA. The results are as follows; first, the ratio of building work occupied 81.3% over the total energy consumption, 79.9% over the CO2 emission and 81.8% over the SOx emission. The building work was a higher rate than the civil work and mechanical work on the energy consumption unit, CO2 emission unit and SOx emission unit. |
