| Abstract |
Though several domestic design guides of floor vibration exist, foreign design guides have been mostly used than domestic ones in practical application on floor vibration assessment. That reason is inferable from excessive simple bounds or uncertain evaluation of domestic guides. In accordance with that circumstance, most of engineers or researchers eagerly desire updating the existing domestic guides or development of new ones.
In this study, survey analysis was practiced to estimate present status of practical application of domestic and foreign floor vibration design guides, and to comprehend their criticism on existing guides. Also, advisable feature of design guide was inquired to be a help to the form and matter of new ones.
In conclusion, It was confirmed that only the 9% of respondents applied just domestic guides and 79% of respondents evaluated that those guides were too simple or estimation results were unbelievable. In addition, more than 90% of respondents urgently desired new design guide going with domestic circumstances, and they suggested several advisable opinion for new guides. |
