Abstract |
Life Cycle Costing(LCC) is a technique which takes account into both initial and future costs and benefits of an investment over some period of time. LCC is important in commercial decision making because it provides improved assessment of the ling-term cost effectiveness of construction projects than alternative economic methods that focus only on initial costs. The purpose of this study is to identify critical success factors and best practice in LCC through the analysis of case studies. The analysis of successful cases of LCC indicate that critical success factors and best practice in LCC have much commonalities and LCC benefits are not just in theory but in reality. |
