Abstract |
The restriction of fossil fuel consumption by UNFCC(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) brought nation-level policies to cut down energy consumption. It is in great need to revaluate the efficiency of the current architectural tendency towards multi-use and large-size buildings which causes the increase of consumption. The present research is to find energy-saving models by three steps, examining consumption characteristics of single-use buildings, by which assuming model buildings and supposing energy consumption patterns according to mixed-use types. The ratio of 2 mixed uses with energy saving characteristics were established as 5:5, which were designed as Housing+Office and Housing+Hospital. The optimum mix ratios of the 2 models were derived, as a result, 4:6 in winter season and 9:1 in summer season. The analysis is a basic step of simulated mix-use building and its mix ratio and is to be used as reference for the decision of mix ratio for presupposing energy consumption. |
