| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to prepare ways of accessible design for disabled person on the convenience facilities of the public buildings. To provide accessible design more convenient and efficient public buildings, we ought to consider various aspects like the size and spatial composition of a facility, safety factors, and the present convenience facility regulations. The research was conducted for 17 related public buildings located in Jeonju-City.
The procedures for research were as follows : An attempt was made to investigate the findings of previous studies, architecture-related codes and faculty standards with a focus on the literature. An attempt was made to synthesize and analyze the investigated checklist and find out the problem. And this study attempted to get basic materials on the spatial configuration of the convenience facilities to be considered at a time of planning the public buildings. |
