Abstract |
Recently in urban life, vibration in building structure to traffic loads is one of the urgent issues to be solved for users. Only a few researches on the prediction of the vibration due to traffic load have been performed in the open literature. In the modelling of floor to analysis with estimation program, there is difference in vertical vibration level between experimental value and analysis value according to the shape of floor model in the building. This study has its originality on presenting a modelling method for the slab of shear bearing wall structural system to predict accurate vertical vibration of floor. After analysing by using proposed vibration estimation program, a comparison between the results by present program analysis and the results of experiment is conducted to prove the validity of the modelling of the slab. As a results, the slab model enclosed by shear walls is given to make the analysis results similar to the result of experiments. |
