| Abstract |
This study investigates residents’ consciousness and their using behavior of the waterside to suggest desirable guideline in the residential planning of the waterfront. For the investigation, we have made a survey of the waterfront Apts, and 96 cases of sea, 93 cases of river and 104 cases of waterway were selected for the final analysis. For the analysis, Factor Analysis through Semantic Differential Method, Frequencies, ANOVA and Regression Analysis has been achieved. In result, we have found that the residents of the waterfront have their own unique senses(psychological reactivity) and life behavior, those express a important role in constructing of residential environment, and the fact that the form of waterside and the visibility affect greatly the evaluation of neighborhood waterside also. Hence-forth the residential planning that promotes positive effect of waterside and reduces negative sides must be achieved. |
