| Abstract |
Kangbuk region of Seoul City, which had been neglected from urban growth and development have come to face problems of urban infrastructure deficiencies such as road, park area, cultural facilities, etc, causing deterioration of living environment and traffic jam. As a result, Seoul Metropolitan Government announced Kangbuk newtown project for the area of Eunpyong, Kileum, Wangshimri district in a way of balanced development, which is under pros and cons debate among local residents and many related professionals. At this point of time, this research aimed to propose a solution of desirable balanced development through the analysis of newtown development project. |
