Abstract |
The project delivery system as a basic framework to perform construction project conforms to one of the important decision-making items of early stages of construction project, assigns specific authority and responsibility to parties participated in construction project and defines relationships among them. According to delivery systems applied to construction projects, projects have different results fairly in building process and project outcomes. Presently, the project delivery system in public sector is decided by the delivery system selection committee, but it is decided by only subjective judgment of members of the committee because there are no specific selection criteria and selection procedure for delivery systems. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest a conceptual framework which can select delivery systems considering various factors such as domestic construction environment and project characteristics, and so on. Main components of the conceptual framework are items that need decision-maker's judgment, evaluation data for projects by each delivery system, evaluation model, and decision-maker. |
