Abstract |
Many previous studies revealed that the proper daylight condition can't be solved with the size and shape of the exisiting lot of the present residential area. Therefore new lot design is needed to fit the recent transformation of house types from detached houses to multi-family houses. This study aims at designing and proposing new lot which is satisfactory to 4 or 5 stories of multi-family houses in the matter of daylight condition. Arithmetic data based on the goal duration of daylight and distance coefficient between houses are analysed, examined and selected for this new lot design. These analysed data, which are filtered and selected from the cross-checking of the parking capacity, ratio of the total floor area to lot size and proper size of the house, are fianlly analyzed by way of 3 dimensional daylight analysis program. As a result of this 3 dimensional analysis for each azimuth angle of the lot and building, the actual size of the new lot is proposed for satisfying the goal duration of daylight, |
