Abstract This paper concerns the theory of vision of Le Corbusier. Since years 1920s, the architect conceptualized the way of seeing and synthesized the concepts in his Modulor published in 1950. Especially, four sketches and comments in this book demonstrates the theoretical background of Le Corbusier. In conclusion, to see is to re-evaluate the meaning of flesh as emperical and concrete entity. This is also his critical stance toward the reproduction system of abstract images of the built environment in modern society.
