| Abstract |
There are many problems in site logistics management of high-rise building construction performed in downtown area due to limited staging spaces for materials and temporary facilities. Hence, studies on JIT concept focused on construction materials keep increasing as a solution for the problems. Curtain-wall work is a prerequisite for interior work and one of the most important materials because of its quantity to be dealt with. This study analyzes problems of curtain-wall logistics in construction sites, and suggests a direction and a model of system for transportation and procurement management of curtain-wall. And then, the model is evaluated by case study. As a result, it is expected that the system will contribute to JIT management of site logistics, and help managers make decisions and actions promptly on various problems. This study will also contribute to direction and development of transportation and procurement systems for other finishing materials. |
