Abstract |
he late Kim, Jung-Up's works can be inter-textually read in view of the late Le Corbusier's influence. But the most of our critical discourses are in some restrictions caused by his artistic nature and intuitive style, and the limits of the modern objectivism. From this point of view, Harold Bloom's Influence Theory offers very useful grounding in this way. Therefore, this paper uses the main theoretical frames of the Anti-thetical Criticism, consisting of the 'creative misreading‘, the 'revisionary ratio’ and so on, and intends to re-reading the new meanings of Kim's architecture from the inter-relationship with the Le Corbusier's. Consequently, it is useful method that unite the diachronic and synchronic for extend the critical horizon in Korean architecture. |
