| Abstract |
While today's project delivery methods become more various types, generally three most common project delivery methods such as DesignBidBuild, Construction Management, DesignBuild are categorized. The DesignBuild delivery method among these was first introduced in Korea, 1975. But it still has been producing many problems. The previous researches had been suggested several ways to improve the Design-Build project delivery but it seemed to have had no effect whatsoever. The suggestions of these researches were used to solve the one-on-one method which found each problem and solved each problem without approaching the wholeness. In this study, we analyze the whole Design-Build delivery method through the GST(General Systems Theory) and find out the best adoptable Design-Build system. The GST is using in the jurisprudence, sociology and politics because it can well explain and define the present law, society and politic. Design-Build analysis was done by GST's 4 major elements comparison of domestic and overseas and then System frame making using GST. The results will be helpful for the owner to select the method under the Korean Design-Build system. |
