| Abstract |
Knowledge is essential in course of planning building constructions. It is not easy to use the knowledge because a person stores it privately. This study suggests knowledge matrix as a method to use knowledge necessary in planning temporary facilities layouts on a construction site. The knowledge matrix supports a planner to use easily influence factors, decision items of a temporary facility, and knowledge of temporary facilities layout planning. K-Matrix is an application of the knowledge matrix, and is used in the temporary facilities layout planning system. It has been verified that K-Matrix is able to be one of criteria to make and evaluate the alternatives of layout plans. |
