| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the development characteristics of urban regeneration in Europe and US and suggest a planning strategy for implementation of urban regeneration initiated by the public and private partnership. This study is consisted of four areas as followings : literature review of existing study and setting up of examination factors, analytical review of each city's current situation and problems, analytical reviews of each city's urban regeneration plans by examination factors, and specific evaluations and suggestions for urban regeneration. The result of analytical reviews is synthesized and used to suggest the major strategies and guidances for the future urban regeneration in terms of physical, socio- economic, and institutional aspects. |
