Abstract The purpose of this paper is to provide information on the reform of French architectural education system and to make a comparative analysis of two different cases embodying by this reform. The reform of Korean architectural education is now under investigation. Nevertheless, the French reform has begun in the academic year 98/99 and provides a six years' duration course subdivided in three biennial cycles. So, an overall convergence emerges between the French system and the European one. This evolution facilitates the exchange of students, knowledge and admission in universities.
