| Abstract |
This study aims to compare, and analyze, architectural differences between national history museum and public history museum, and propose architectural planning of public history museum. For these purposes, firstly, concepts and existing conditions(in Korea) of national history museum and public history museum were considered, secondly, through cases study of existing national and public museums, common things and differences of them were presented, and then, Characteristics and architectural planning directions of public museum was discussed. Results of this study are as follows ; 1) The character of Public History Museum is desirable that it's architectural planning directions??is differentiated from National History Museum. 2) Unit space area of Public History Museum is analyzed to be more wide than it of National History Museum, but Unit space number of Public History Museum is surveyed to be less than it of National History Museum. 3) Accordingly, Public History Museum must be interesting and user-oriented museum. Especially, in the exhibition space planning and display, Public History Museum need to be positively introduced exhibition display using high technology. |
