Abstract LEB system is a prefabricated building system of a gable frame fastened by bolts with transformed shape section from conventional C-channel section of galvanised steel and standard connectable hardwares. The LEB system is used to small one- story factory and storehouse building within 10m span. However, in spite of economical and constructional efficiency, it is difficult to be used for long span over 10m according to a structural limitation. Accordingly, performance improvement is needed for generalizing??LEB system. So, development of section detail for improvement in section performance, the application of tie-bar for deflection control about vertical load and the exchanging of hinge shape for fixed shape of column bases are conducted. In results, by structural analysis, allowable load tables and??proposal of improvement in structural performance to satisfy internal load criteria are suggested.
