Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum batch composition for fabricating the Hwangtoh based autoclaved lightweight concrete(ALC) as construstional material which controls humidity.??The results of this study were as follows; The optimum batch composition of hwangtoh annexed clay mineral for manufacturing the ALC was 15 wt.% of soil, 10 wt.% of diatomite, 5 wt.% of silica fume, 28.2 wt.% of slag, 25.6 wt.% of sand, 11.4 wt.% of quick lime and 4.8 wt.% of hemi hydrate. ALC made above composition showed 45 ㎏f/㎠ of compressive strength. XRD and SEM analysis showed that ettringite crystals were developed when 15% wt.% of soil and 15 wt.% of diatomite. Still more tobermorite and C-S- H gel were formed when above composition was used. A conclusion of this study is to use the optimum composition for biological building construction materials. |
